No New Fat Albert?

Fat Albert is probably one of the most iconic cartoons ever.

Therefore, when news came out that Bill Cosby was thinking of rebooting the show, I was thrilled.

However lately there have multiple accusations made toward Mr. Cosby and many of his projects have been shelved or cancelled.

Therefore, I assume that means no new Fat Albert.

I remember years ago, Pee Wee Herman’s show was cancelled after he was caught masturbating in a porn theater. However, he has made something of a comeback with his show now aimed at adults with nostalgia.

Arnold Schwarzenegger also had a project cancelled after news of his affair and secret son were made public.

Unlike the other instances, Mr. Cosby is being accused of far greater crimes that are unforgivable to most people. Now whether the accusations are true or not is still unknown, but it’s not looking good for him.

Bill Cosby’s image is forever damaged; no one wants to receive weekly moral lessons from an accused serial rapist.

I don’t think Fat Albert will be back anytime soon, if ever.

I hope this serves as a lesson to folks, bad behavior has a way of catching up to you, and it can and will ruin everything you have worked for.
